This weather pattern reminds me of S. Florida or even worse, Orlando. Went for my walk/run this morning at 6:30 AM and was drenched by the time I got back. Later at the Davidson farmer's market it was closing in on miserable conditions.

Even though it's in the 80s now, it feels like a sauna.

I really wish we would get a nice morning in the mid to lower 50s that drives this moisture out of the air, but I am afraid this won't be so for at least another 8 weeks. I guess it is a consolation that it's not also 100.

Nope, this is what I live for. Grew up in FL and love tropical air with afternoon thunderstorms. Pitchers of sweet iced tea and A/C and you're good to go.

The title of the thread should say October. September is bad here too!

I have been whining about the weather since I moved to NC, so I am glad someone else started this thread. It's miserable, I can't stand it, I hate it.. blah blah blah I am running away to the west coast Monday for 10 days of dry hot days and nice cool nights

It is a small price to pay for October-May.

Why people from the north move here for the weather is BEYOND me. I can see the lower cost of living for sure ...but the weather?

Although the hot sun of Arizona or So. Cal is no bargain to me either..you can have that too.

Agreed. And I'll add September and June to that. I like a little heat mixed in.
