Thanks for the suggestions! We've never paddled that section of the French Broad. It sounds like a good beginner run.

There is a dog run at Ramsey Creek Park on Lake Norman. It's located off Exit 28.

Default Sky Blue Vacations?
It's nice to hear such great things about Lake Norman. We're thinking about spending a long weekend there, and we found some houses through Sky Blue Vacations - has anyone heard of them? Are they a good rental business?
