The votes are all in for our first Charlotte City Data meet up, and by a vote of 23 - 17, Dave and Buster's at Concord Mills has won! Here are the official details:

Place: Dave and Buster's at Concord Mills Mall (Dave & Buster's :: Local Information Page)
Date and Time: Saturday, August 18 at NOON
Where to Meet: At the entrance to the bowling alleys inside of Dave and Buster's (less crowded here... should be easy to find each other. I'm a tall guy, about 6 foot 2, with a shaved head... so I should be easy to spot in a crowd to know that you're in the right place)

Spouses, significant others, and children are more than welcome to attend the event!! Since we're going to potentially have a large head count, please RSVP to this thread by Thursday, August 16 with the total number of people in your group (for the poll), as well as the details of the people in your group in a written reply to this thread (i.e. number of adults and number of children) so others can get a feel on whether or not they'd like to bring their spouses, significant others, children, etc along as well. The head count will allow me to reserve a table for lunch, which I will do on Friday, Aug 17.

We can start out having lunch as a group at the sports bar restaurant inside Dave and Buster's around 12:30. That will give the stragglers some wiggle room as far as their arrival time goes, and it will give us a chance to hang out as a group and talk. After lunch, we'll still have the opportunity to hang out as a large group either at the pool tables or at the bowling alley, or we can split up into some smaller groups based on common interests.

Hope you all can make it, and I look forward to seeing you next Saturday!!

Here's my RSVP for 2 adults. I'll definitely be attending, and my wife will most likely be attending as well.

DITTO! Maybe we can try to set up a follow-up meeting in the fall?

If we get a decent amount of people out at this event, we'll definitely plan a follow up for September or October

Can the person who voted for 6 attendees please post the details of adults/kids who will be attending? We're just trying to get a breakdown via individual posts in this thread so people get a good idea on whether or not they want to bring spouses, dates, children, etc.

Thanks!
