Situation: 1993 BMW died for the second time in 6 months. Said car is being used by my son who has been out of work for 2.5 years. (so Mom is the financier of these repairs) 5 months ago, the diagnosis was a fuel pump and that repair bill was an eye-popping $980.00.

This time, we were not quite sure of the problem. After discussing the situation with my cousin's son,(who, by the way is in Carbondale, IL) it was determined that the issue was probably a bad water pump. He referred us to O'Reilly's Auto Parts (where the part was 1/2 price of other places). A friend from church who has also has a BMW (albeit a newer model) recommended a auto repair place called Nickoles Automotive Repair. (they are in N. Charlotte, near to Northlake Mall)

Good results? The BMW is fixed for slightly less than $200.00!!!

The excitement of finding a decent car repair place that is fair & honest. = Priceless

Good for you. Well done.

BMWs have a habit of costing a lot of money to fix. I know, I have had several BMs over the years.

You guys did well and should be proud and happy.
