Here is another example of government incentives not amounting to nothing more than useless rose colored articles in the Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Business Journal, and photo ops for politicians.

Charlotte's Perfect Fit Industries, to great fanfare announced that it was consolidating it's workers from Indiana in Charlotte and received government subsidies. Now they have triggered a NC WARN event where they are laying off 123 workers and these jobs will not be returning.

Layoffs begin on Sept. 1st. I feel for the people who will lose their jobs.

The WARN notice does not say and Perfect Fit will not respond to questions from the press. There was an article however in some local paper where the local politician quoted was hopping mad. (or pretended to be) They said someone dropped the ball in regards to the government incentive (welfare).
