Well, it really helps to buy a home nearest to where you work if you can. But in general, here are some nice neighborhoods over $500,000.

Rae Woods
Kingsmeade
Bridgehampton

most expensive------providence downs south 1mil up ------------- 700 to 1mil+ is marvin creek estates
all the others are OLDER communities------then of course there are the homes around lake norman
