Never heard of Figaros before but here they come! 30 locations!?! Thats rather ambitious for a 100 store chain. I wonder if they plan that kind of expansion in other cities?
"Figaro's Pizza coming to Charlotte
National pizza chain Figaro's Pizza will open its first restaurant in Charlotte by the end of this month, the company said today.
The store, located at 2015 Arbors Drive in North Charlotte, will open on Aug. 23 and feature pizza that is cooked at the restaurant or can be cooked at home.
The Oregon-based chain has more than 100 locations nationwide. About 30 locations are expected to be opened in the Charlotte area by 2010. -- Nichole Monroe Bell
Aside from the typical NY pizza wannabe restaurants in the area, are there any Papa John's, Little Ceasers or Dominos in Charlotte? I know there is a Pizza Hut in every shopping center, but I prefer PPJ. Thanks.
Try Papa's Pizza To-Go (not Papa Johns). Their Piggystix are to die for - breadsticks with bacon and cheese with dipping sauce. I haven't seen Little Caesars here, but there are Dominos & Papa John's Pizza here. Also, I think pizza in Italian restaurants is more expensive here than it is in S. FL.

Figaro's is in Rock Hill and Lancaster Co already.
I used to like Pizza Hut and still do, but my local Pizza Hut is horrible. I had an order for a pazzone, chicken and sticks.. Pazzone was wrong (ewww mushrooms), chicken was cold, no sticks.. They wouldn't fix my order for an hour. So I got $5 credit.. bah.. I wrote to Pizza Hut HQ and they said sorry and sent me 2 coupons for free pizza. I tried a week or so later.. Pizza and Sticks.. no sticks... Tried again, Pizza not cooked enough, sticks, but no sauce.. Tried one more time, Cold Chicken, Sticks Cold Pizza hot but the ingrediants were wrong.. UGH!.. I still have a coupon left.. anyone want it.

I prefer Davinci's off WT Harris for NY Style.
Pizza Hut was my favorite as a kid. I remember the porky pig glassware, Yo Sammie Sam glassware
Even in my college years I always order a personal pan pizza and thought it was the deal but lately I have lost faith in them.
Im not sure if they just gone to a cheaper sauce but the good rich taste is gone.
Also I highly suggest step in those take out delivery and look at the cleaniness of the stores you might be shocked.
Does anyone know is it legal for me to take photos of the restaurant condition then post it on the web?
There is supposed to be a Tonys from NYC opening in charlotte and mooresville
And they will likely taste very similar to the Tony's that is already. DaVinci's is just all around good pizza, NY style or not.
