Mike

Good luck to you. My wife and I are former new yorkers as well. It is nice down here, but being from NY things will take a bit getting used to. My wife and I have actually moved ourselves for the last time. Full service moving next time. Welcome, if there is anything I can help with let me know.

Ugh, I hate moving! At least the hard part (packing) is over, right?

Good luck with your move, and travel safe!

I did it 8 years ago from "New Yawk" as well. Keep it real and don't let the cost of living blind you. Stay frugal and keep in mind that the job market is pretty tight....the quality of life is great but you have got to be able to finance it.

Hit me up when you get to the QC....my husband and I along with our kids could share some wisdom with you and yours....Peace & Blessings,

Unpacking is just a bear to, just like packing.

I moved to the QC from NY 8 years ago also. I just exited the QC after 8 years. I hope to never move again, but that's unrealistic. Next time, it will be in the dead of winter, when it cannot possibly be 105 degree's outside.

Good Luck and I hope your enjoy your stay!!!
