This is a subject so dear to my heart, as I'd eat wings every day if it wouldn't kill me...
That said, I also recommend DD Peckers and to my knowledge they are not a change. Great wings.
If you head a little north try Moosehead's on Montford, great flavor, great heat.
I'd agree as well that Wild Wings isn't go great. Too much going on and nothing done very well.
I've been to McKoy's and would go back for the wings there as well. Great flavor, something in their recipe is a little different flavor than the other guys, in a good way. Maybe cumin? Great BBQ there too.
beyond that, I like my own... you can find the recipe for mine on the blog for DaveEats dot com. Good Eat'n!

Get the wings naked, extra crispy, and medium hot, and they are pretty good.

I like their garlic parmesan best.

psst...that was me who said that.
For the record, Hooter's isn't a place I'd normally go if wings were my quest. When I was traveling for a Nascar hospitality job, a few of my coworkers wanted Hooter's frequently, so I figured out how to make the best of their wings. Hooter's also carries the major UFC fights, so there's another reason I end up there. I just found out the Buffalo Wild Wings carries UFC too, and they are two blocks from my house, so that will probably become the new UFC venue for me.
