Oh, nooo!
Now, Scotsman . . . leave it to you to take us to a whole new level

CAKE ABUSE! Yes, a cake, abandoned, left to disintegrate in the rain.

In MacArthur Park, at that.

"I Shall Return" . . . but evidently, he didn't.

So many varied reviews of that song over the decades, (often parodied) but I love Webb's lyrics - the end of a relationship . . .

BUT IT IS STILL CAKE ABANDONMENT!!!

Muscadine Pie. Just saying. If you want the recipe PM me. You know what else, Anifani you could create a cannoli pie, just don't put a crust on it. Let's see, take either crushed cannoli shells to form a crust or a cooked pie crust then fill with cannoli cream. Tho making cannoli cream is a pain b/c ideally you need impastata ricotta & that's really hard to find. Tho I know most Italian bakeries will let you buy the cream by the bag, but good luck finding one here. Don't mind me, I have a sweettooth. I'm having a convo with myself about desserts & pretending to myself that somebody out here is listening.

Trust me, ChessPie. I am listening.

Anyone w/ your moniker is to be taken very seriously on a Pie thread.

I am dying here . . . wanna make a cannoli. I never knew it could be that simple.

I have made muscadine pie! Yes, ma'am! I sho nuff have! But it has been a long time. I was dating a guy who had a terrific grandmother we used to go visit - and she introduced me to it. I had never heard of pie made w/ grapes til she gave me the recipe. TY so much for sharing with us, ChessPie.
