Severe weather? (Tryon, Woodlawn: moving, pool, yard)

Just took a look and it looks bad. Storm actually moving from the northeast to the southwest. Don't see that too often.

Listening to a police scanner on the iphone. Trees down on Selwyn, a fire call on Carmel Rd, crash at Woodlawn & S Tryon......way too many to remember. Sounds like a heckuva night is in store.

Storm ran us off from the pool this evening, although we were already heading out. Lots of lightening and rain here but no hail. Kind of ironic since a ton of our neighbors are currently dealing with new roofs from the hail damage earlier this spring.

Yeah, I think this storm may have had lightning strikes that did some damage.

We had a very tall tree hit in an earlier storm - actually burned for brief time - but then the rain put it out. Kinda of scary to have that happen in your back yard.
