Does anyone know if there are any fireworks this weekend anywhere around town?

I don't really know any place that sets off fireworks for Labor Day - not for a public show, anyway.

Never associated Labor Day with fireworks. According to ehow, they happen though. http://www.ehow.com/how_2192294_go-l...fireworks.html

Now that I think about it there were always fireworks at the county fair when I was a young lad, which coincided with Labor Day weekend. We'd go watch them after throwing darts to win crappy hair metal mirrors and riding the salt and pepper shaker all day long. I always figured it was just a fair thing and nothing to do with the holiday.
