The one they opened in Atlanta has a cafeteria, and that one is fairly new.

Have you ever been to a Wegmans ? It's no doubt the best grocery/supermarket in the country. Charlotte area may not need it, but believe me if they had it they would love it !

No, haven't been to one but why supplant our own grocery stores. We have plenty of our own.

Sometimes, we need to support what we already have not bring in more or bigger. Bigger isn't always better. Liz

Obviously you never visited a Wegmans. If you did, bigger is better

Using that logic, a Super WalMart is better and that ain't always so either. Liz

Been there and honestly Super Walmart doesn't even come close to the quality, quantity and diversity of products provided by Wegmans. Their lunches/dinners(dining area) are better than most restaurants. Super Walmart is not in the same league, not even close. Wegmans will come to Charlotte especially since Charlotte is a hot real estate market.

Bottom line: the bad thing is that every store in the world cannot be located in one city; the good thing is that there is an increasing amount of world class stores coming to Charlotte that puts our town in the threshold of world class cities rather than the realm of small towns like Raleigh, NC, etc.

Wegmans and other chains cant turn a profit in this over saturated Grocery Chain Market. Bi LO Ingles, and Winn Dixie both have experienced a retreat and close stores due to all the Lowes Foods, Aldi's, Harris Teeter, Bloom, Food Lion , Super Walmart centers who really driving these chains out.

You really need to stop it. All of you. If I hear that "W" word one more time I am going to lose it.
