Default Huntersville or Charlotte

Please help, leaving in 2 days and wondering which area is better. We are relocating from Miami Fl and would like a nice middle class neighboorhood with low crime. Which areas would you recommend and which ones should i avoid. We are also visiting Greenville SC, is there any comparison?

Thank you

There are great neighborhoods in Huntersville and Charlotte. A LOT depends of two questions - where will your job be? How much do you have to spend on a house?

Sorry, don't know much about Greenville. Try the South Carolina board okay?

Just curious, what part of Miami are you relocating from? I grew up in Miami so I know it very well...

Were in the Westchester area, close to F.I.U...

As far as our price range were looking at around 225k to about 325k and as far as work goes, I work for FedEx and I'm not sure yet of where the station is, but I guess it's in Charlotte

As was said above, Huntersville is nice, Matthews, Waxhaw, Indian Trail to the south. Actually there's to many to list. I think North and South you can't go (to) wrong.

That kind of money will afford you a nice home in many places around Charlotte. I personally love south Charlotte - less crowded than the Huntersville, Davidson areas. How old are your kids? You may want to check out areas based on schools.

Go for Huntersville. Lived there for 6 years.

Ceaderfield is a nice middle class neighboorhood. Everyone also says Birkdale is nice too but it's expensive and too close together for my taste. Gets crowded on weekends as well.

Not any real bad neighborhood's in Huntersville, you'll start to find those as you go to Charlotte.

CMS has completely messed up the schools in Huntersville though.
