Flying Biscuit in Stonecrest. I also liked Brigs when I was there, Cafe Really was pretty good, and the Waffle House.

Stacks is a favorite!! I see no reason to go elsewhere. And the line proves people agree.

My kids beg to go there.

For some reason, not a huge Eddie's fan. Been there twice, and it was fine, but nothing special.

BTW, Toast is supposed to open on Park Rd in Dilworth in the space that used to be Sunset Grille (and Las Ramblas before that)

Charlotte has lost many of its classic diners - any other favorites folks remember Athens on Independence, Andersons on Elizabeth, and the Knife & Fork on Sharon Amity?

But you can still have a delicious breakfast at John's Country Kitchen on Central (near Thomas) and the Landmark (also on Central just before Sharon Amity.)
