I suggest we all dress in our Halloween costumes, knaw on a turkey leg while we trim our Christmas tree this year. Get it all over at one time. Hate the way commerce tries to rush holidays. Chill out and enjoy them. All we have is today so it might be the last one for some of us.

Ugh I'm with you. NO Christmas decorations allowed until after Halloween. Come on, people.

Seeing Christmas items up, I feel like I have stepped through a time-warp having missed Halloween and Thanksgiving. I guess if I am a retailer, I gotta put my stuff out now because that's what the competition is doing. I am glad to see the word Christmas used in postings instead of "holiday" items.

Hobby Lobby starts putting out the Christmas stuffs in June. I make this huge mental wish list. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around and I'm buying new Christmas decorations, the stuff is all so old to me and I've talked myself out of having to have those items. So I'm thankful to Hobby Lobby for letting me stare at the same stuff for 6 months. I don't feel the need to buy it today because I may never be able to get it again.

Michaels had Christmas stuff out back in JUNE!

When I worked retail, we went to 100% Christmas music on November 1st.
