Regarding commute from LKN to Uptown, I head north out of town on I-77 a few times a month. I am blown away at the traffic jam from LKN area heading south on I-77. I can not imagine how long the commute is unless you leave your house at 6am. I work out of my home so usually try to time my travels to avoid rush traffic. When I do I find it painful, I can't imagine someone having to do it on daily basis. Many of us moved from big cities that had long commutes but come on..I wonder if people move to this area and aren't aware what they are in for on trip to work or do people fall in love with the lake and are in denial about the commute...to me it is part of quality of life, hey I am sure the lake is nice but how can it be worth it?
