Smile Cramerton

I see a lot of postings about Belmont, but is Cramerton truly a good community. I looked at the statistics on that wonderful page that someone made with all the links and the schools look pretty good especially the middle and high schools which is what I am interested in. I just want to know if we go out and play tennis in the evenings or walk the dog, will we be safe. I am looking at renting a house looks like in the almost west cramerton area, of course the realestate guy says it is a great neighborhood, but I need to know what y'all think. I look forward to hearing from you.

I believe that Cramerton, like Belmont, is a very safe community and I have never felt unsafe walking around in the evening. I prefer Belmont over Cramerton but either one will be fine.

Cramerton is very safe. It is kind of sandwiched in between Belmont an Gastonia and is very small. There are a lot of older homes but there isn't a lot of new construction. Cramer Mountain is a gated neighborhood that is adding new homes.

Cramerton is very nice but the downtown is prone to flooding(or used to be judging by the weather lately).

I lived in Belmont in the 90's and loved it there. Both Cramerton and Blemont are nice, safe areas, but like GastoniaNative said, the downtown area tends to get spill-over from the South Fork River when it rains a lot. 'Just something to keep in mind.

Thank you very much all of you. the house is located north west of downtown, not sure how many miles but it isn't right in town so I hope it isn't prone to flooding.
