I just started working and am adjusting to the commute I have from Union County to Charlotte. I am worried about next week when school starts with all the extra traffic on the roads. How much can I expect my commute time to increase beginning next week (i.e. if it takes me 45 minutes now, how much longer can I expect it to take me to get to work)?

It really depends on what time you leave in the morning.

Leaving 15 minutes earlier by me made a HUGE difference.

What schools are you going by? Are they in Meck. County or Union or both?
Meck. County High Schools start at 7:15 (I think, unless that has changed). When I worked in Union County I would miss the school traffic for the most part in Meck. County but would get stuck by the High Schools in Union County.
