Can't go wrong with T-Bones on Lake Wylie. They are in SC and can offer Happy Hour pricing, iirc. Plus, the view can't be beat (if you like looking out on the lake wishing you could be out there on a boat). Food is reasonably priced. Drinks are, too.

French Quarters on Church Street, have great specials. They serve 16 ounce Long Island Iced Tea for $6 and have some amazing salt/pepper wings. Two drinks, wings and a tip, would run you under $25. Mortons Steakhouse also offer you a great afterwork special that changes daily. If you looking for fancier spots uptown, let me know, I have plenty of recommendations, but it will cost you.

Baxter Village has a few places that are cool to hang out at, all within walking distance. Cloud 9 has martini and drink specials every day, so does Beef O Bradys. grapevine wine bar (and higher end craft beers) does no corkage on Mondays so you get a really nice bottle of wine for regular retail pricing. FishMarket does excellent bar bites menu on Tuesday and Six Pence usually has something too.
