Are there any places other than the Penguin or the Diamond that do fried pickle chips in the area? I'm in Locust (Stanly County) and we have one place here (Tailgators) that does them but I'd like to find more places in Meck, Stanly or Cabarrus Counties.

TIA

There are many places that have them in Charlotte. I've had them at Big Daddy's Burgers (now Bad Daddy's apparently). They were good and their burgers are really good.

Zaxby's used to advertize them, but I don't see them anymore on the corporate website. Ditto for Sonic.

Looks like Texas Roadhouse still has them: Steak Restaurant Interactive Menu - Steakhouse Prices - Texas Roadhouse Menu

Awesome. Topic very dear to my stomach. Maxwells tavern hands down has the best Fired Pickle chips. Coming in at a very close second is Carolina Wings and Rib house. These are all over SC but heard they opened one in the University area. I know they are great in COlumbia so hopefully they will be made the same way. I am really not a fan of the spears but will go with them if there is a good dipping sauce. I will try some other places people mention in this thread. Always out for an adventure.
