Question Which cell phone provider has better coverage?

I'm moving to the Charlotte area in 2012 and am currently doing my homework before the move. My question is which cell phone provider has better coverage? I'll be traveling all the around the Charlotte area. From Mooresville to Salisbury to South Park to Huntersville, I'll be all over the area and need a mobile provider that is reliable in all (or at least most) areas. So which company has the best coverage in the Charlotte area? Please answer on the poll question too. Thanks!

There's no comparison in the Lake Norman area, Verizon is the best. I have friends who get 0 bars in their house at the lake.

If you don't mind their prices then stay where you are with Verizon. In terms of overall coverage area they are the best.

Indeed, Verizon has the best and most reliable coverage in NC hands down.

Which never made any "sense" to me. Why the US Government didn't mandate shared towers/resources, so that coverage would be more universal... Leaving the cell companies to compete based upon services and price point alone?

Kind of sucks that we pay two to three times more than Europeans for the same services.
