We're coming to Charlotte on Tuesday. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive hotel or motel? It doesn't have to be fancy, just quiet and safe, and a coffee pot in the room would be great.

Note: It's modest digs- the Hilton it ain't ![]() Seriously it was fine for me, a home base while I was there, high speed internet and a soft bed. The room was a little smaller than I was used to. Anyway I think it's less than $40/night. |

I stayed here when I was checking out Charlotte in March. If you ask for their "Relocation Rate" they will give you a discounted rate. Back then it was $49. Probably still the same.
