Have your realtor set up an automated search for you, so when a house comes on that meets your criteria you will get the listing as soon as it comes on the market.
That is good information. Are you using a search agent website that is available online to anyone? The realty sites that i have been using do not have an option to filter houses with pools. That would be helpful.

You can build a pool at $50,000 or less, but it depends what kind of pool it is. If you are building a vinyl pool you should be fine. My parents just built a gunite pool and it was $70,000+

My wife and I have been looking in South Charlotte for over a year and finally bought a house in the Huntingtowne Farms neighborhood off of park rd and 8 minutes from the South Park Mall.

Its really a hidden gem and prices are still very cheap compared to the rest of the Southpark area. The only problem is the schools are not that great but thats really the problem with most of Charlotte in general.

You know, I had forgotten about Huntingtowne Farms! Some of the lots do go up to half an ace there. I actually like that neighborhood a lot The middle school for the neighborhood is really pretty good - Carmel, and the elementary is just kind of middle of the road, not terrible
