Are you wanting to rent horses or do you have your own? I don't think uwharrie has rental horses.

The only place I know of where you can rent horses to go on trail rides is Latta Planation in Huntersville and Anne Springs Greenway in Fort Mill, SC (just over the border).

Oh boy would I love to own a horse, or two!

We are looking to rent. Thank you so kindly for the suggestions.

not sure where you are located, but do a search for Latta Plantation Park in Huntersville. They have horses and trails.

The Horse trails in the Uwharrie National Forest are excellent
Rentals ar available at the Uwharrie Stables
Plan to stay at the Underground House
Uwharrie Mountain Resort Rentals

you will have a wonderful time!
