I'm thinking of gifting a dinner for two with a four course meal to my husband for dinner. Has anyone gone on this dinner cruise aboard the Lady of the Lake at Queens Landing in Mooresville? There is a promo going on right now only good while available so I'm hoping for quick responses before I hit the Buy button! Thanks all!

I have been on the Catawba Queen, which I believe is operated by the same company, for a lunch cruise several years back and I must say we had a great time. Good food, nice people and nice tour of the lake.

Also, if you go, please post back your expreience. A group of friends has been thinking about going for a dinner cruise on the Lady of the Lake. I am wondering what the nightime experience is like.

Will do, although in the post above, there is a half off deal going on...sorta like a Living Social thingy. Check it out!

we have done the dinner cruise and I must say..... food not that great. OK, but not great. And when you are having your dinner the lights are on in the galley so.... you can not see the view. Might as well just have gone to a nice restaurant. Better to do an afternoon cruise. Great views of the lake and much less expensive. Just my opinion

I heard the food was just so so also...not bad, but not great. However, the experience of dining on a yacht was something hubby and I had done only once back in CA. I was thinking it was better and more romantic than just being in a restaurant, and this was the closest I could get. Only the dinner cruise was offered in this deal, unfortunately, so I had to get it while it lasted. It seemed popular enough, looking at the number bought already.

Did you notice it expired in 2012? It's an old thread.
