I was in Charlotte this past weekend. Awesome experience!! But i was wondering about the nightlife. I went to the epicenter and noticed that almost everywhere was late 30s and up? are the crowds always like this down there? im in my 20s so thats not really my kind of crowd. I didnt see a whole lot around university either. thanks for any replies!!

That's odd , it seems whenever I am downtown , all I see are alot of young persons. Perhaps they look to be in their 30's.

That is odd. Epicenter is full of university students as well as other age groups. Epicenter is popular with Johnson Wales Univ.,UNCC, and others.

Maybe there was an event geared towards "older" people at the arena that night. The EpiCenter always gets spillover from that crowd when it is over.

North College Street tends to have the "almost legal" crowd. I do believe that the "black X" stamp on the hand means under 21 (yet 18 and up). If that is the case, I see quite a few "under 21's" in that particular area. The area I am talking about is the small strip with Bar Charlotte in it.

If you want more excitement at the Epicenter, just wear your cap backwards.

After events I go over to EpiCenter and watch the young 'uns cause a ruckus while I yearn for the halycon days of my youth. I feel like I need an AARP card compared to them.
