As with Herman Cain, being that Vince Coakley is a black conservative, that automatically qualifies him as outrageous. There is no valid reason as to why the OP would make this claim, as you can see from the non-response to the question.

Your comments about Vince betray your liberal leanings. I am a conservative and happen to agree with what he says about POTUS views on God and Thanksgiving. I also like Rush Limbaugh though and that disturbs all the godless liberals on this forum, too! You should be glad we live in country that still allows liberal, progressive, socialistic thought on the radio. Such thought is contrary to our founding fathers, but, hey, you are protected by the same constitution a conservative is.

To the posters opining about "wah, this is opinion I'm allowed to have it.", yes, this is true. However, I was under the impression that rational adults generally formed opinions based on facts or information they had to have gotten somewhere, somehow. So don't come at me with this tripe about "it's just an opinion". There's too much of this crap going on today locally all the way to the national level. People can come on any forum, or go on TV and say the most ridiculous things and then not even have to back them up when they run and hide behind "OMG it's just my opinion!" Fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion (one of the FEW things we really ARE entitled to in America), and shame on me for expecting the OP or anyone else on this thread to provide specific examples of what Vince has said or done to make you think so.

Right wing radio isn't based on facts... it's just opinions and shock jock radio most of the time. Anytime someone calls in and actually demands some facts or challenges the host they run to commercial or scream over them.
I'm also wondering where all these liberal radio stations are.
They have most of the Major Television Networks along with Many Newspapers and Magazines. Not so many radio stations.
To be honest with you I think it is because Liberal Talk Radio is pretty darn boring. I do listen to it occasionally. I think the main reason is because Liberal and Consertative Radio is much like debating with the two in person.
For Example-
On Liberal TR, the hosts tend to recite the daily lib talking points then when taking calls, ham it up with those that agree with them and when someone who disagrees calls in they basically call them an idiot, insensitive, racist or whatever and hang up on them. They simply are not interested in having any kind of discussion.
The difference is on Consertative TR, the hosts still start with talking points but tend to get those who agree off the phone quick and keep the dissenters on as long as they can trying to go back and forth to have a factual debate. Also, on conservative TR you will often hear conservatives call up and disagree with the host. The host is also not above jumping on another consertative. These things do not occur on Lib TR, at least not very often.
The only exception is Hannity who I like (OK) but he gives Repubs a pass on almost everything which is very annoying.
No matter what your beliefs are, no one wants to sit and listen to talking points with a bunch of people calling up to talk about how great they are and not willing to question one of them.

Not really true. Commentators all lean right, but they get their national news from CBS which has an anti republican agenda. Its not a credible source for news IMHO.

If lefty liberal radio were so credible and relevant, it would have at least an equal radio presence <cough> Air America <cough>.
