Donuts!
Are there any good donut shops in the area? (I mean other than Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme)

Speaking of Donuts...I stopped at the new Dunkin Donuts on 521 and Lancaster Highway today at about 630am, I was feinding for a jelly donut and they had only 2 flavors of donuts (plain and chocolate)....How is that possible??? Dunkin Donuts with no donuts???? Thats like Starbucks with no coffee!!!

I love DD, but it's been years since they have made them in the store like those old 'time to make the donuts' commercials. My brother was one of those guys in Michigan back in the late 80s. So if they didn't have donuts, it is likely their truck had not arrived. Don't know of any donut places besides KK or DD. There used to be one by the Shoppes near UNCC but it closed (I think it was briefly a DD too).

Do a search on this site, as we've already had a donut thread before....you'll find the names of a few non-chain places there...

Yeah, I did see that. I stopped by on Sunday morning to get donuts and they are closed on Sunday! Bummer. I will have to go back and try them though. Thanks for the tip.

MJ Donuts
Hi Folks,
MJ Donuts in Pineville have some killer donuts, but you have to get there early.
They are only open from 6 AM to noon--Monday thru Saturday.
