Sup yall! Im moving to Charlotte (I Originate from the Grand state of Texas) in 6 months and figured Id come here to find out some info. I have a few questions, I hope somebody can answer them and nobody takes offense to them.

1. How is city living? Do most people work and play in the city and then sprawl to suburbia?

2. Is racism a major problem? Im a southerner but have been fortunate enough to never experience the racism I often hear about.. are folks at least tolerant?

3. How is the real estate market? Buyer or seller?

4. How are the politics?

and lastly HOW BOUT CAM NEWTON?!

1. How is city living? Do most people work and play in the city and then sprawl to suburbia? Depends on who you're talking about. Age comes into play as much as anything. This can be further explored by doing a search on this forum and reading the many threads.

2. Is racism a major problem? Im a southerner but have been fortunate enough to never experience the racism I often hear about.. are folks at least tolerant? As with anything else, this depends as much on one's own attitude. There are minority people here that never face racism, and there are those who feel they're steeped in it all day, every day.

3. How is the real estate market? Buyer or seller? What day is it? Which publication are you reading? I think it's a wash right now, with any advantage going to the buyer.

4. How are the politics? Stupid, like everywhere else. The public says we want one thing, and the city council ignores it half the time.

and lastly HOW BOUT CAM NEWTON?! Cam is great. He now has scored more rushing TDs in a season than any other QB in history. The Panthers overall...well that's another story. Injuries, rebuilding, inability to tackle, whiners, etc.
Perhaps "newcomer" is the more appropriate word for your situation. Just a thought.

That being said, my responses are in bold.
