Hi all (I posted this in the SC thread too)

I have been offered a job downtown Charlotte working M-F 9a till anywhere from 4-7 pm (closing times are different every day).

I am currently working off hours and don't have any problems with traffic.

One of the decision makers is drive time.

What is the typical commute times during those hours from Rock Hill to 277N to downtown?

Thanks for your help

I can get from exit 5 (Woodlawn Rd. in NC) to 277 in 10 minutes during the morning and 15-25 minutes in the pm.

I dont know how long it takes from exit 5 to Rock Hill but it shouldnt be that bad.

Well, it is bad because of back-ups at the state line due to merging traffic. It is a NIGHTMARE. If it were not for that, then the trip would be ok. It is around a 27 mile trip, and the state line back ups will push it to 45 minutes. With no traffic at all it still takes 30-35 minutes.
