We recently moved to the Ballantyne area and just adopted a puppy (also have an older cat). Any recommendations for vets in the area?
Thanks

I have used Rea Road Animal Hospital for the past 2.5+ years (since I got my dog) and would recommend them. They are friendly, easy to work with and great with my dog. Their prices seem reasonable to me; although I'm sure they're not the cheapest in town.

I can't say enough good things about Piper Glen Animal Hospital. We've been going there since we moved here almost seven years ago. The vets there are great, particularly Dr. Brown. Very friendly staff and super accommodating with appointments, multiple pet discounts, etc.

I use Banfield in the Petsmart on Rea Road. They're across from Blakeney Shopping. I like because they have very early hours and there's grooming next door so I can kill two birds with one stone. They're very nice, show a lot of care for my pet (they call him Mr. Zak and coddle him the whole time. Sometimes I think he hates going home with me after!) and they are very professional. Banfield also offers this pet insurance or pet payment plan. On my plan I pay $35 a month, I have to take him for checkups twice a year and a dental cleaning, which is included in the monthly fee so you don't have to pay anything when you take him.
