Remember last year, or 2010, when a Charlotte Food Lion employee took several $300 bills? How stupid can an employee be?

I have a $1,000,000 dollar bill that I found at BoJangles on a table. It has bible verses on the back side. I wonder if that is what he used?

A picture of Rutherford Hayes in on the front.

Biggest bill the US Mint ever made was a $100,000 note in the 1930s. Can't imagine carrying that much around.

That is what the news article that is in my first post in this thread.

It says, that the town in question is Lexington, NC.

LEXINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- Do you have change for a million-dollar bill?

Police say a North Carolina man insisted his million-dollar note was real when he was buying $476 worth of items at a Walmart.
I was a little worried that I was posting in the wrong forum and Sunny the Mod would chase me away to another place on City-Data but, it turns out that Lexington can see us from there so it worked out OK.

If I had a million dollar bill to spend in Lexington, I'd go nuts and furnish my entire house from Transit Damage - that place rules! Forget Walmart!

As amusing as is the thread topic itself, it's also amusing me that the title makes it seem like there's a town called "Walmart, NC".

Was this an accident? Could be, but then again, direct from WallyWorld, NC...
