Searched the forum and didn't see any specific threads on this neighborhood.

Any input on the neighborhood and the builders DR Horton and True Home?

Our needs - Young family with kids/pets. Commuting to South Charlotte for work.

Concerned that the neighborhood is still years from being complete. And that it is off some rural roads. And we like to be close to restaurants and shopping (Baxter and Steel Creek seem close...) But we hear the shoold are excellent.

Any advice/thoughts? Thanks!

You might have better luck posing you're question on the SC York/Lancaster County Thread. Good Luck!

This community is a 55 and older community so it might not be perfect for your kids. The homes are very nice but might not be exactly what you are looking for.

I don't think Lake Ridge is a 55 and older community, unless they have changed something.
