Hopefully they hire young hot stewardesses for those flights. The only way to get one under 55 with US Air is if you fly first class, and even then it may not happen. Don't get me started on the ones with hips that are wider than the aisle.
It would be good to see US Air have some competition.

I am going to assume that this is one of those posts that are meant to be a joke but it is hard to tell because we can't read tone.

That is exactly what i wanted to say.!!!! The heck with the added convenience and lower fares. If I could just get me some hot pilots and stewards squeezing around them isles I'll be happier than a single woman gettin a pat down in security. Whoot Hoot All in good fun
Well - they are only getting Airtran's gate space so I would not expect SWA to be flying more flights per day that AirTran already does, which is only a few. So I do not expect SWA to make much of a dent here at CLT.
It will be limited travel. Looks like right now only DC, Richmond and Orlando, which means if you want to take Southwest West, you're going to either have to head up the coast or down the coast first before you trek toward the inner part of the country.
Boo and hiss. That will also severly disable my free flying since I can never get standby anywhere North of the Chicago area whenever I try to go home to LA or Vegas.

Where'd you hear that? I haven't been able to find what the actual routes will be. But if they're only starting out with 3 routes, having Richmond being one of them seems odd, since Richmond is another one of the airports being converted from Airtan, plus that's a short flight and I wouldn't think that would be one of the most popular routes anyway.
