Not having seen any recent bakery threads , I thought I'd start one.

Someone told me that Enzo's Italian Market (Indian Trail) carried cookies and desserts. Anyone ever try their desserts?

Outside of hiking to The Peach Stand in Fort Mill, are there any places to get fresh baked desserts and pies?

Poppy Seed Bagels on Potter Road has some baked goods. I think they may be considered Stallings?? Not sure.
They have some Italian cookies, crumb cakes, brownies....and more
Everything I have had from them is delicious.

Sunflour Bakery at 7th Street & Pecan has a nice selection. Not nearly as much as Amelie's, but really good stuff, and sandwiches & breads, too. They have pies, Amelie's does not. They've started staying open later, and serving wine & beer. I think that was a really good decision, I'm starting to see more & more people there.

Thanks for the great suggestions! Are there any other "down home" Southern bakeries out there?

Suarez Bakery in Park Road Shopping Center. They make everything from scratch, and now they sell Counter Culture Coffee - my favorite.
