The article for "No Trump" deal was in the Charlotte Observer on December 6, 2011. The link I posted was in today's Newspaper, so it
looks like they might have changed their minds on this.

I wonder if home sales have been affected by this ongoing issue - will the club get bought by Trump, some other entity, or will it be member owned? Since club membership is required if you are a home owner I would think prospective buyers would want that issue resolved before buying a home at the Pointe. I may take a drive up there soon to look around, even tho it is way out of my price range even if I wasn't happy where I am now.

I believe if a vote is passed, then a perspective buyer is required by law to be notified. Same would apply if there are any lawsuits, etc.

As Ani said, it is interesting to watch for the future.

The article you linked in the OP was from December 2nd.

Although I did not realize that there actually have been more recent updates since then.
