Safe, clean laundromat?
Hi folks!
Anyone know of a good, clean laundromat? We just bought a new house, and the owner took the washer/dryer with them, (bummer, thought they wouldn't do that... ) and laundry's piling up, until we can afford to buy units of our own.
If ya'll know of anything around 485 South/Pineville area, that would be great.
Thanks so much!!!

There's one in the back side of either Tower Place or McAlpine Creek shopping center. I always get them confused. It's on 51 near Johnston. "Soaps and Suds" is the name I think.

Yes, the one just mentioned in Pineville was the one I would recommend! It is hard to see. From 51, go like you are going to Loew's (hardware) and it is in a strip mall on the left on the end closest to you.

renting to own might be an option. While rent to own stores are typically expensive, it would probably be much cheaper and more convenient than the laundromat. Also, we got our w&d from hh gregg a few years ago when they had no interest for 18 months and we paid about $50 a month so we could pay it off. Again, probably cheaper than a laundromat.

I'd go to a scratch & dent appliance store and find a set...you'll spend a ton of $ in a laundry mat.

Try renting one a set from Azuma. They lease with a six months max for about $32 a month. I am a customer and they lease me a brand new set with the option to buy. If its a short term deal, go with them. You could set it up online and they will come to your home and set it up. I've been here less than 3 months and I'm so happy that I went with them. I hated laundermats in NYC and will only use them for large comforters 2x a year.
