Swiss Farms grocery in Matthews
Anyone ever shopped at one of these places?
Swiss Farms
There is one coming in Matthews. I understand the concept of a drive through grocery but it seems incredibly inconvienent to me. Cripes, people can't make up their mind at McDonalds drive thru with less than 50 options.

That's actually in Charlotte, FWIW.
I can see certain situations where not getting out of my car would be advantageous, but other than those very few times I can be in and out of a convenience store very quickly. I'm curious to see how this will work.

Ya, you're right. It's near the corner of Sardis and Monroe so it is Charlotte.

Ask on the Philly board. Most of the locations are on or near the Main Line, so it can't be trashy.

Oh, it looks plenty nice based on the building and their website. It's also in a crappy location, IMO, for traffic. People turing on and off Sardis are going to be getting on my nerves.

It would have been an advantage when my guys were younger! Just zip through, no undoing car seats, putting them in the buggy, etc. Of course, Harris Teeter now offers online ordering, you just drive there & pick it up, for a fee. This could be great for those last-minute things you need.

The existing locations are nice places on & near the Main Line & one OK town in South Jersey. Then nothing in between the Delaware Valley & here. That seems odd.
On the bright side, lots of TastyKakes & Stroehman potato bread. . .

It's a mile from my house, and people turning left into that parking lot are often a problem. People turning left out of that parking lot will now be an even bigger problem than what the theater caused.

I have no kids, so I didn't see that angle. Good point.

I always wondered if that theater causes traffic issues there. I only go through that area on Saturday or Sunday mornings on my way to Original Pancake House.

OPH!!! YUM!!! Haven't been in a while.
Swiss Farms opened today. I went through there a couple times and didn't see any traffic issues though they were busy. Time will tell.
When the theater lets out, it causes problems all around that corner.
From what I've read you'll definitely be paying for the convenience at SF. But they did send out flyers to the locals for free Tastycakes and coffee.
