So beings that I will be moving to the Charlotte area in less than a month I'm excited because it will be the first time I will ever have lived in the state of North Carolina. So therefor I'm excited because I will be close to Duke basketball fans. So here is my question, are there any places where Duke fans gather to watch games? I'm assuming it gets pretty fun during the ACC Tournament. I can't wait. GO DUKE!!!

Third floor at my house is the Duke Room. My husband is a big duke fan and has everything except a degree from Duke

You'll find lots of Duke fans around here... until football season. Usually it turns out their favorite *football* team is Alabama or Florida.

Just look for the bandwagon and jump on.

^ bahahaha Exactly. The Duke fans save all their energy for basketball for sure. They can't even get the students on campus to walk to the stadium to watch much less their "fans" to show up for a football game.

But yes, living in NC you will see a passion for basketball, especially around ACC Tourney time that's unmatched IMO. Not sure where Dook fans gather to watch games though unfortunately but any sports bar uptown or in Charlotte would be fun to watch any games at and they'll be fans there for sure.

FYI......there are going to be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more Carolina fans in Charlotte than Duke fans. Most people in NC actually DESPISE Duke.

Yeah there's more UNC fans than anything else. I remember when the Bobcats made the playoffs vs Orlando, JJ Redick got booed everytime he touched the ball. It was pretty funny.
