Default Huntersville neighborhoods

Hi,

We are going to be moving to Huntersville soon. We are looking at the following communities:
  • Montieth Park
  • Carrignton Ridge
  • MacAulay
  • Wynfield
  • Cedarfield
  • Hampton Ridge
  • Birkdale
  • Cambridge Grove
  • Vermillion
  • Centennial
  • Hambright Woods
  • Village at Rosedale
  • Gilead Ridge
  • Melbourne
  • Caldwell Station
  • Northstone

All of these have homes within our price point but we need details about each. What I am most interested in is the type of lifestyle the neighborhood provides. Is there nearby shopping (particularly Harris Teeter and Target)? Are the neighborhood schools to which the area assigned closeby? Are the assigned schools good schools? Are there small children or older children in the neighborhood (I have a10 month old)?

We would like to purchase a home we can stay in for a while where our children can grow up around other kids their age.

Any info good or bad would be appreciated.

I know I'm getting on this a little late but I live in Rosedale and the shopping is tremendous. Bi-lo, CVS and Harris Teeter right on the back side of the development. Lowes, HD, Target, Old Navy, Kohls, etc about 2 miles away and more places to eat than you could visit in a year.

Nice neighborhood and neighbors too.

well really all of these homes are within a couple of miles of each other. Its not like they are all over town. The schools in the area are ok a little over crowded. Any of those choices you should be ok with. The only thing is some neighborhoods are still new while others are a little more established.

Hope that helps....
