Hello folks I need some input about Catholic churches in the Charlotte area. I'm looking for a very active parish with lots of activities for kids. It doesn't have to be a large parish, but welcoming and family oriented.

I'm looking to rent a home and it would be nice to have an idea of what church we will be attending before we decide on where to live!

Thanks so much!

Most of the parishes in Charlotte are large and bursting at the seams

Be sure to visit Our Lady of Consolation sometime for a spirit-filled experience with incredible gospel music.

Rather than chose where to live based on a church though, I'd go with picking a place that gives you a decent commute to work.

On the south end of the county you'll find St. Matthew's is the most vibrant. On the north end of the county look at St. Mark's. More in the central part of the city look at St. Ann's.

Welcome to Charlotte.
