Well.

The Carolina Tarheels are in a nail bighter with the Ohio Bobcats in the NCAA Sweet16. Unfortunately I cannot watch this game because I have basic cable and can't find it on any of my channels.

CBS - the broadcast hub for the NCAA Tournament - usually shows the teams playing in their home regional tv markets, especially as the tournament goes on and there are less games to show.
So why is CBS showing the Baylor vs Xavier game while the Carolina game is going on? This makes no sense. They have the satellites to show every team in their home market. What Gives?

I have missed most of the Carolina games I wanted to see this year because they were not broadcast on basic cable. This is really beginning to annoy me.

It was on TBS, the game is over amd Carolina almost lost, Ohio kicked butt in second half and Carolina almost lost it but they won it in overtime with a nice lead.

Good excuse to go watch the game at a bar and grab some wings....

Seriously though, I think w/the new contract w/TBS/truTV/cbs/etc that this stuff is predetermined beforehand...local coverage is out the window it seems.....

Yeah I think it was the same across the whole country...

But you'd also think UNC vs. whoever would get better ratings than Baylor/Xavier
