Thanks, I already looked at those reviews as well as some others. Many seem like they may be planted reviews. I guess I will just throw the dice and try it since they have an acceptable sanitation score.

They don't seem planted to me. With only 8 reviews, the "Elite" ones are most certainly not plants. The only two "suspicious" reviews might be "Maggie R" and "Sean R" within a day of each other, but since Maggie references going there with her husband, I'm prepared to assume they're a couple and raved around the same time because they enjoyed it so much.
3-5 stars, looks like. Anyone with more than 5 or so reviews I'd be inclined to trust. Let us know how it is! It's on my list.

At least I was trying to be polite about my opinion.
I've seen numerous planted reviews on TripAdvisor. I have not seen as many on Yelp and they are policed and filtered. As a disclaimer, I'm also a Yelp Elite Reviewer. Reviewers with that label certainly are real people, with real reviews.
Since we're abandoning politeness though, go wherever you want. I don't really care if you enjoy it. I was just trying to help, but surely won't make that effort with you again.
I went a couple of years ago. It was good. Nothing particularly memorable, but enjoyable enough that I'd go back.... in fact this is a good reminder that I should try it again!
I take Yelp's restaurant reviews with a grain of salt, pun intended. I've seen many, both positive and negative, where it's quite clear the reviewer has not set foot in the restaurant based on their descriptions of the menus or the decors. Likewise, I see people rate a restaurant and then write something like "I only had a few beers but the food looked good". But it usually happens with new, hip, cool restaurants. I don't think people would pretend to have visited a place like Machu Picchu.

The Yelp ones for MP seem OK. If certain people had bothered to apply reading comprehension skills, they would have realized I read more reviews that just on Yelp. It was a few Google reviews that I found suspect.
This elite guy on Yelp gave it 5 stars but only gave McKoys three so I can tell I don't have the same taste as him to begin with.
