Midwife in S.Charlotte area? (Pineville: live, delivery, arboretum)

Why is it so hard to find a CNM here?

I'm in York County, SC so I can't go much more North than Ballantyne/ Pineville. Can anyone help me find a Nurse midwife in the area?

The only one I know of in South Charlotte is Tina Hayes at Piedmont Gyn/OB in Ballentyne. She has an excellent reputation.

Here is a link to a google map showing the locations of midwives in Charlotte so you can see where Tina is. There is another midwife who looks like she is near the Arboretum, but that might be too far for you.

Tina delivered my DS back in August. She's AWESOME! It was a tough delivery and he was a BIG baby - she was amazing. I definitely recommend her highly - we LOVE Tina!
