We're fairly new to the area, but have been down here long enough to know we want to live in Huntersville or Cornelius. However, we haven't been down here long enough to find a good Realtor. They always say it's best to go with a recommendation from family & friends, neither of which we have down here (I know - too bad, so sad). But, seriously, having a good Realtor who knows the area and the market is important to us and we'd rather not blindly pick one from the internet. Please PM me as that's probably more appropriate.

Thank you kindly.

Sent you a DM. We moved to Huntersville 4 years ago from NJ and were lucky to find a terrific realtor. She showed us houses in the Peninsula, Birkdale, Northstone, The Hamptons, and a few other subdivisions and even non subdivision houses. She knows this area very well.

A good realtor (like her) will listen very carefully to you, especially when you are looking at a house. She will figure out what is important to you, what you want and need in a house, and maybe even figure out some things that you have not articulated yourself. This will save you a lot of time. Several times I would go through multiple listings and flag a house and ask her why she didn't show this house to us. She would tell me, too close to the highway (noisy), or too close to the high tension wires, or even not enough square footage, as she figured out after we looked at 2 or 3 homes of a certain size and commented about how we could never squeeze all of our junk into that space.
