Maybe because of Why can't people in Charlotte drive in the rain? to keep accidents down with those who commute. Or it tp drive more people to see the Hunger Games which we plan to see this afternoon.

Im kinda glad over rain vs the scattered 1 minute showers as plants need a good soaking.

I have a gut feeling with this warm Spring we will have a scorching hot summer and possible drought conditions.

At least the pollen is being wash away.

This is perfect. Rain early Saturday morning to wash all the pollen out of the air, so now we can enjoy clearing skies and the outdoors with fewer sniffles.

There's an old saying "What do you call the day after two days of rain?" Monday!

Probably to keep you in, to do the things that need to be done before Summer. So that you can enjoy the Summer more...not having to worry about the things that you need to do inside!! While you are inside...the rain is washing all the pollen off of everything...so that when you do go out, you won't be sneezing and sniffliing!! Isn't it funny how Nature works!!
