I am heavily considering moving to Charoltte in the next month or so. Presently i have my MBA in Corporate Finance from a university in pennsylvania and got my undergrad in poli sci and hist @ coastal carolina in myrtle beach. Currently i am employed as a credit manager at wells fargo, and now i have to think about how to go about finding a good priced, nice apartment near the city, finding a job, and making new friends there. Its one of those places you visited when you were young and always wanted to take residency there. I would really like the lake norman area to live or work. I guess my question is, does anyone know of companies looking for a good employee moving from pittsburgh? Are there good job postings that the people in that area know of? Any great apartments that are reasonable or need a roommate. I'm a pretty normal guy!!hehe. Lemme know...thanks

With an MBA in Corporate Finance, you couldn't choose a better city. Charlotte is considered to be the nation's second most important financial capital. All of the major banks have offices here: Wachovia, BB&T, Bank of America, TIAA Cref, just to name a few. Just south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, either Chase or Citibank just set up shop. They're all constantly hiring talent as there are over 50,000 people a year moving here.

I advise to come quick, before winter takes effect.

Pittsburgh is one of my favorite cities, except for the crazy hills. I loved coming there to see the steelers when they played at 3 Rivers.
