No HT in Greenville or Spartanburg, only Publix. I lived there for 6 years and was looking forward to shopping at HT... now I find myself missing Publix.
I think HT is going to take a beating over in Stonecrest off of Rea RD and Ballantyne Commons. The Target there is turning into a Super Target. I shopped at Super Target for years in FL and loved them. I am really happy they are finally bringing some here. (I know there is one near Carowinds somewhere)
You sure it's becoming a Super Target and not just adding the 'Pfresh' market area?

Not sure what Pfresh is but they are adding a deli/bakery, fresh meat and produce and expanding its grocery side. If it isn't a Super Target, they are definitely adding a full service grocery side. Maybe it is a hybrid between not quite a Super Target and a Target?

They are doing the same thing to the Midtown store, at the Metropolitan. I'm so glad! I stopped in once to pick up a few things because it was convenient, and I was surprised at how much less expensive the groceries were! I started getting things there regularly, to supplement what I can get at Aldi.

I got a hit on my thread on the Greenville/Spartanburg board. Harris Teeter & Publix did compete, head to head, for several years in Greenville & Spartanburg.
