Yes please!! Let's start a campaign, now that would be an improvement. First one in Ballantyne too.

Wegman's footprint in six states should should be large enough to operate more than 83 stores. I do not know if they have considered opening many new stores in their footprint before expanding south of Virginia.
I find it hard to believe...there just isn't enough open land behind Sun Valley Commons (apart from buying up all those old mobile homes and cleaning out that whole area. There are parcels across Wesley Chapel Stouts Rd. from Sun Valley Commons (behind the old fish camp) that would be able to handle something with the footprint the size of Publix. I fully expect Publix to make a move somewhere in Indian Trail and this area makes sense...just not sure exactly where. Keep your ear to the ground...rumors like this usually have some merit.

There is an under contract sign on one of the small houses behind Sun Valley Commons and looking at Google maps there is quite a large parcel if you add in the old seafood restaurant,
I read this as Indian Land and Sun City and was thinking why on earth will Publix go there when there is one just down the road....lol I had to reread this twice. That's a great area for a Publix, business is really growing out there.
That makes sense now Car...I was trying to figure out where behind the theater they could fit a Publix...but you are dead on, there is plenty of open land on that side. Publix usually doesn't wait long to reveal plans so hopefully we will hear something soon
I was very sad to see pictures of the new Ballantyne-area Publix. They have self checkout lanes.
